Each houseboat comes with a complimentary 16 foot Alumarine fishing boat. Some guests choose to rent our 15hp Honda engines, while others bring their own motor to put on when they arrive. If you decide to bring your own motor, our fishing boats are set up for short shaft motors rated up to 35hp. Each boat comes with two paddles, a bailing container, a fish measuring trough and a boat safety kit which includes 15m of buoyant line, a flashlight, and a whistle. Extra boats and motors are available for rent on request.
Commencing in 2006, Lac Seul Floating Lodges is able to offer our guests High Transome 16’ Alumarine boats. This boat has a flat floor, swivel seats and is equipped with a 20Hp long shaft Honda outboard motor. Reserve early as there is a limited amount.
